Jo joined NP Vet Group in 2002 after completing her veterinary nursing training. Over the past 18 years she has been a dedicated member of our team, greeting the chaos and challenges with poise and grace. She enjoys the varied nature of her work and appreciates that no two days are the same. Jo is responsible for coordinating a lot of what goes on behind the scenes at the clinic and is also our Purchasing Manager.
Her favourite nursing experience was with a 2-day old puppy whose heart stopped on the way to the clinic. She was involved in reviving the puppy and keeping him alive during that first critical day. After the puppy was stabilised, she brought him home and bottle fed him until he was strong enough to return to his family. Outside of work, you’ll find Jo curled up with her cats, reading a book and nibbling on some chocolate.
